Hi — I’m Yolanda Keil
I’m a runway stylist, costumer, and builder behind Fringed Jewels — a creative house where editorial vision meets operational clarity.
I’ve never followed the traditional path. I learn the “rules,” then I look for the gaps — the overlooked details, the cleaner method, the smarter system — and I build from there. Some people call that rebellious. I call it necessary.
Some Facts About Me:
- As I said before, I’m not the norm. I’m a rules-learned, rules-rewritten type.
- I studied abroad in France (Cannes + Paris) — it expanded my world permanently.
I marched in Mardi Gras parades.
I was on the Air Force ROTC drill team freshman year at UF (yes — rifles, spins, and precision). I respected it… then realized it wasn’t my lane. (Rebel behavior, confirmed.)
I’m energized by other creatives — collaboration is fuel.
I have an image consulting background (trained via an accredited course approved by AICI) and volunteered with Dress for Success style seminars.
My marketing + web background includes roles like Consultant, Online Communications Editor, SEO/Analytics Lead, Associate Marketing Manager — different titles, same strength: I bring a fresh eye and spot opportunities fast.
I taught myself HTML to control my old blog’s look and feel — and I still customize this site myself.
I learned sewing to support work projects (machine when I must)… but I prefer hand stitching.
The Background Story:
I started with alterations and became obsessed with transformation — not “perfect,” but intentional.
At one point, I reworked almost my entire closet — taking rarely worn pieces and converting them into a sustainable collection of deconstructed, funky originals I actually wanted to wear. That evolved into accessories too. Every piece had a story — and the storytelling made the work more personal.
That collection became a wearable portfolio: proof of my stylist’s eye.
What Fringed Jewels is
Fringed Jewels is home to two worlds:
Styling Pro Tools™ (Active) — a professional tools hub for stylists, costumers, and production teams who want to work cleaner, faster, and with more authority.
Glosslinz (Concept Studio) — a creative showcase where I share product vision, ingredient philosophy, and ritual-based design as proof of range.
Styling Pro Tools™ is the active product line. Glosslinz is a concept studio that demonstrates the vision.
Styling Pro Tools™ — Why I Built It
Styling Pro Tools™ started the same way most of my best ideas start: I couldn’t find what I needed.
In fashion and production, the pace is real. The expectations are high. And the smallest mistake can cost you time, money, trust, or future work. I kept seeing talented people rely on screenshots, scattered notes, and memory—then get blamed when something slipped.
So I built a simple, professional system that holds up under pressure.
What it does (in plain language)
Styling Pro Tools™ helps you:
run your workflow cleanly (even when you’re exhausted)
protect pulled/shopped items, returns, and inventory
keep expenses organized and reimbursement-ready
coordinate packing, call days, and handoffs
communicate like a professional team (not a stressed freelancer)
Who it’s for
stylists, assistants, and costume teams
production teams juggling multiple moving parts
schools and programs training future professionals
anyone who wants their process to look agency-level without making things complicated
What makes it different
This isn’t “more templates.” It’s structure you can repeat:
simple forms in → clean dashboards out.
That’s what makes people trust you. That’s what makes you faster. And that’s what keeps your work from falling apart when the pace gets intense.
If you want to start simple: begin with the 3-step foundation, then build as needed.
